I see you London…

I have been following the blog of Marsha Moore, a Canadian ex-pat living in London who is also the author of 24 Hours – London and 24 Hours – Paris. Marsha isn’t native to the city of London, but during her time in the country she’s been able to figure out the best things to do each hour of the day. The kind of things that tourists don’t typically do. The kind of things that Londoners are sometimes surprised to think about doing. The kind of things I’m excited to read about in her book, which I ordered from 24 Hours – London on Monday and arrived today. Marsha’s blog is an interesting read, so I look forward to cracking open her guide book.

I also ordered Time Out London for Londoners, which was recommended to really get of sense of each neighbourhood. Since I will be living in a neighbourhood of London, I want to know what’s nearby, which neighbourhoods have good public transit, and the variety of other things that typical guidebooks don’t tell tourists about.

Hopefully all these books don’t weigh down my suitcase TOO much!
